What a fabulous wedding day this turned out to be! A beautiful venue (friends farm), gorgeous weather, and a magnificent couple! I have been photographing Amy and her daughters for quite a while now, going on close to seven years, so, it was the cherry on top to be asked to photograph her wedding to Jon. Amy & Jon are not your conventional couple, they are totally outside the box. When they planned their wedding, Amy wanted to keep it very simple, with a few select friends and family. In a last minute change of clergy, Beth Mosier stepped in to create some fabulous vows which fit Amy & Jon and the girls perfectly! She also introduced something new during the ceremony. Since both Amy & Jon are hikers, rather than have a sand ceremony, or a unity candle, instead, the family created a Carin marker to symbolize their new family bond. Beth also broke the guests intro groups, so each group could write a short toast which they gave during the service. Amy did a great job rounding up close friends to help with flowers (Alex Pallos) and food, as well as making the wedding catering complete with Doodles food truck, and Missy's Pies. Simple, yet elegant and beautiful, the light on the farm was perfect. Lush greens, and blue skies dominated the day, and led into starry night skies with dancing on the front porch.
